Barbara's passion is PRAYER! She is a woman of action when it comes to serving God and others through her Prayer Ministry. She organized a large Prayer Ministry from women across North Carolina who are committed to prayer. Barbara wholeheartedly believes prayer is the most effective resource to fulfilling our purpose in life. In addition, she has been a regular workshop leader at the annual Women's Prayer & Evangelism Conference sponsored by Embrace, a North Carolina Baptist Women's Ministry organization.
Barbara came into full-time Christian ministries after retiring from 30 years in the marketplace, last employed by Glaxo Smithkline Pharmaceutical Company in the Research Triangle Park. In 2001, she sought God's guidance and found favor to be contracted by the Baptist State Convention of NC where she worked with the African American Ministries team to develop and manage a Seminary Extension training program for lay people in NC churches and the NC Dept. of Corrections.

Anne is a very compassionate, high energy worship leader who brings fun to the retreat experience as well as soulfully directing our hearts into worship. Anne returns for the third year which says how much our ladies love her style and music. She comes to us from Tabor City, North Carolina. God has called Anne out of Music Ministry from her home church recently to begin a new Ministry of community-wide revivals. This is Anne's second year in such an endeavor which God is blessing and much fruit is being seen. Her past ministry experience includes serving as Minister of Music for Youth at her home church, Tabor City Baptist, as well as former High School Music Teacher in Choral Arts. Anne shares that her talented youth choir traveled many places in the U.S. and beyond, with singing engagements in California, New York, Florida, Canada and Mexico.
